Co-Founder of Black Opportunities and Black Lives Matter (BLM) Greater New York. Since becoming independent of the BLM Global Network five years ago, Newsome and his team have spearheaded numerous legislative successes with a focus on police accountability and opened the Wildflower Charter School in the Bronx.

Octane is also the Founder and Commander-in-Chief of the Black Justice Society, headquartered in Dallas, Texas. She is the proud publisher of the Black 2A Report, the first Black study and research about gun ownership, training and business activity in the Black 2A community by and for Blacks.
Nick Bezzel
Founder and National Commander of Elmer Geronimo Pratt Pistol & Rifle Gun Club.(EGPGC). Bezzel, a highly decorated Black Veteran out of the Chicagoland area, is a vocal advocate of the 2nd Amendment, Black empowerment and self defense, political and criminal justice reform, and reparations. It's his deeply held belief that those vital components are all required for the well being and prosperity of the Black Nation.
Akinyele Umoja
Author of ‘We Will Shoot Back: Armed Resistance in the Mississippi Freedom Movement’. Dr. Umoja’s groundbreaking book challenges traditional narratives by shedding light on the historical exercising of 2nd amendment rights by Black Americans and amplifies the voices of those involved in the Mississippi Freedom Movement during the Cival Rights Era.
Friday Jones
Also known as Friday Jones, Khansa Jones-Muhammad is a leading reparations and political education expert out of California. The Howard University graduate has taken on essential roles such as Vice President of the Los Angeles Reparations Advisory Commission, President and Co-Facilitator of National Assembly of American Slavery Descendants (NAASD) among others that have pushed the legislative envelope towards reparative justice for Black Americans.
Professor Akil Parker
CEO and Founder and CEO of All This Math, LLC- a private math tutoring and educational consulting company. Since retiring from the School District of Philadelphia in 2018, Professor Parker has been fully committed to empowering youth through mathematics education, recognizing its role in developing critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and expanding career possibilities.
Commander Patrick Lumumba
Founder of the Black Liberation Movement of Mississippi and Regional Commander of EGPGC Mississippi, Patrick Lumumba is the facilitator of Mississippi on the Move, a 10 City Tour meant to highlight the significance and possibilities of a united Mississippi through civic development developed by the Black community. Lumumba is the driving force behind ASE’ Academy, which recently opened its second location in Brookhaven, MS.
General Mike Pain
Since his humble acceptance as Leader of the Original Black Panther Party in July of 2021, General Pain has worked tirelessly to ensure the OBPP continues to leave a positive imprint across Black communities worldwide. Headquartered out of Virginia, this organization continues to pay homage to the lineage and pay respect to those who paved the way in the Black Freedom Struggle.
